Long Beach Siren and multi-instrumentalist LISA JACKERT makes her Persuasion Records debut
with the sassy single WEAPON. A fixture at the Monday Beach Hut Deli HB Open Mic, Lisa regularly accompanies performers on Fiddle and Backing Vocals in addition to her own set. The inspiration for the song came when one of the Open Mic players(Bad Louie) commented that Lisa was Feter Martin’s “secret weapon” in their duo FETER & LISA(2019-2021). The Folk Blues Duo performed regularly throughout Socal and released the FETER & LISA EP in 2019. The recording and their live performances were energetic and well received but the duo was stalled by the pandemic. An appearance on the video series IN THE MUSIC ROOM would lead the eclectic Martin to form a duo with Singer-Songwriter & Host Nick Justice.
WEAPON is a wry tribute to Feter Martin who began performing with Nick Justice as The SIDEMEN in 2021. Lisa learned of Martin’s new musical direction via Social Media.
